To get jobs you have to allow the private sector to grow. Increasing regulations, expenses, restrictions, requirements, and taxes on the private sector destroy economic growth. Doing the opposite will allow it to grow. Yes folks, capitalism works. It allows individuals to prosper.

How about “The Blue Back Speller” by Noah Webster. Many Founding Fathers used this book including Benjamin Franklin to home school their children to read, spell, and pronounce words.
It had religious text in it, poetry, and fables like, “Of the Boy that stole Apples” “The Country Maid and the milk pail” “The fox and the swallow” “The Cat and the Rat” and “The fox and the Bramble.”
