What is good homebase internet bussiness to start?

I really don’t have any great suggestions. Like you, I am looking for ways to make extra income online. I’m a stay at home mom so I try to make a little bit of extra money to help out the family income.

I have a blog, and if you can get traffic visiting it, you can make money through different means. If you use something like Yahoo ads or google ads, you can get income when ppl click on the advertisements.

Also, I have lots of other sites that I visit that give me a little income. Each one gives me a little and that, in turn, equals to be a bit more.

I’ve been working 15-25 hours/week for 6 years now from home. I work around my kids as well. Our company actually tells us not to quit our regular jobs until we are making at least double with our home business what we were making at the job. So I think its very wise of you to not just drop your job but to want to work around it.

A good flexible type business should have the option for you to work around what YOU need to work around. If that’s a job, a family, taking care of someone, a disability you may have or simply a busy schedule, you can do it on your own time.

It also helps to make sure that if you do something home based it has the potential to have rock solid and reliable income. I enjoy the fact that I do not have to sell, stock, deliver, do parties, etc. So if you are trying to work around a full time job – you will want something doesn’t require you shipping things out all the time or stocking a ton of inventory in your home, etc. That’s all very time consuming.

And, yes, to be honest, I saw an opportunity to promote my own business when I saw your question. I am always looking for someone I can mentor, strategize with and coach on his or her way to their financial goals.

But no matter what you decide – When looking to partner up with any company to work a business from home be sure to do your homework. There are alot of scams out there and alot of companies who mean well but WILL be going under very soon. The IRS has stats that show most business go under in their first five years. It makes no sense for you to put your hard work into something only to have the company you work with go under and leave you high and dry.

Things to look for:
*Minimum 10 years in business
*Company track record (at least 250,000 gross for three years straight
*company awards and recognition
*Memberships (like BBB, US Chamber, etc.)
*Credit Rating with Dunn & Bradstreet
*Reorder rate (make sure market is good and reorder rate is documented)
*published and audited income stats
That’s the kind of stats and track record you want to be on the look out for.
